All set to pour the link beams. Simple shuttering so the resultant beam won't be the neatest in the world. |

Concrete arrives..... |

... and the buckets go into action again. |
<== Where the truck can reach the buckets are not required. Final result, a bit rough but functional, and since it will be buried aesthetics are not an issue. ==> |

<== The khlong where fish (Pla Chon) will live once the last of the rubbish is removed. The right hand bank has been reinforced using wooden poles to prevent it collapsing back into the water when the mud is dug out. The khlong is linked to the river (which is tidal) by a 300mm pipe under the entrance road. ==> |

A grill on the end of the pipe keeps the fish in yet allows fresh water and potential fish food to enter with each high tide, no need to clean or aerate the water. |

Finally a few loads of fill to complete the leveling of the entrance drive. The rest of the new area will be filled during and after house construction (it provides a convenient place to dump construction waste). |

Nearly there, construction plant out of the way (rather a lot of dead shuttering
left behind though).
And, the workers didn't eat all the mangoes.
